About Trim & Proper
Trim & Proper is a beauty and barber shop geared to service everyone and anyone. If you have hair or are interested in adding some hair we have a service for you. Stylist is trained and licensed to design all hair textures and types.
Owners bio
Ming began braiding hair at the age of 14 after a hairstyle mishap ignited her passion for hairstyling. She quickly mastered cornrows, box braids, and extensions on friends and family. Despite her studies at UConn, Ming's love for hairstyling persisted, leading her to acquire a cosmetology license in 2010.
Ming worked and managed multiple salons under Regis Corp., but felt constrained by the limited services offered. Determined to expand her creativity, she established a small home salon in her Windham basement, managing a single-chair salon/barber shop.
Still yearning for more, Ming opened the doors to “Trim & Proper” on March 24, 2024.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations accepted up to 24 hours before the scheduled service. Within 24 hours of the service, cancellations will be charged 50% of the scheduled cost.
